COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - From left, U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. David Julazadeh, Allied Command Transformation’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Capability Development, Royal Air Force Air Marshal Johnny Stringer, Deputy Commander of NATO's Allied Air Command, Ramstein, Germany, and staff members listen to a briefing at the Joint Task Force-Space Defense Commercial Operations Cell (JCO) facility during Space Symposium 38 in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 20, 2023. During the visit, Julazadeh, Stringer, and staff members gained a better understanding of how to provide support to the Meridian cell and discussed opportunities for collaboration including extending JCO services to the NATO Space Centre. The JCO is an extension of the National Space Defense Center operations floor, and it leverages commercial providers to provide diverse, timely Space Domain Awareness in direct support of the NSDC’s core protect and defend mission.
