COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Dr. Orzuri Rique, Allied Command Transformation’s staff officer for Space Education Training and Exercises, listens to a briefing at the Joint Task Force-Space Defense Commercial Operations Cell (JCO) facility during Space Symposium 38 in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 20, 2023. During the visit, visitors gained a better understanding of how to provide support to the Meridian cell and discussed opportunities for collaboration including extending JCO services to the NATO Space Centre. The JCO is an extension of the National Space Defense Center operations floor, and it leverages commercial providers to provide diverse, timely Space Domain Awareness in direct support of the NSDC’s core protect and defend mission.
